Credit Protection Plan
Credit Protection Plan is an excellent way of ensuring that your outstanding balance will be paid off or monthly Credit Agreement repayments will be kept up, even if the worst should happen.
For ultimate choice, the Plan offers three levels of cover: Budget, Standard and Optional.
The Credit Protection Plan is about investing in peace of mind. Weigh up the features and levels of cover and decide which level is best for you.
Credit Protection Plan Options
1. Budget
Budget Cover ensures that the full amount you owe* (less arrears and interest on arrears) will be repaid up to a maximum of £35,000 should you die or suffer from critical illness.**
2. Standard
Standard Cover offers all the protection of Budget Cover, but also provides cover for your monthly repayments up to £1,000 per month. One monthly benefit will be paid if you cannot work due to sickness or accident for more than 14 days in a row. You will receive further monthly payments for each additional 30 consecutive days, until you go back to work or the balance of your Agreement is repaid, whichever happens first.
3. Premier
Premier Cover offers all the protection of Budget and Standard Cover, but also provides cover for unemployment exceeding 30 days. We will meet your monthly repayment up to a maximum of £1,000 for each full month that you are registered unemployed, until you return to work, the balance of your agreement is repaid, 12 consecutive monthly payments have been made, or a total of 24 payments have been made in the life of your agreement; whichever happens first.
* If your Finance Agreement includes a final lump sum, this cannot be covered by Credit Protection Plan.
